Meet Spock- My horse

Posted him last year when I joined, but most of you won't remember. I have been horse mad since I can remember

I have owned Spock, a cob X Appaloosa for 7 and a half years almost. He is now 20. In that time he has taught me so much. He has competed in SJ, XC, Hunter Trials successfully, dressage, long distance rides... Now we just hack and school- maybe the odd show. I would be quite lost without him, as I have grown up with him through quite tough times

Common Theme of 'mug mummy':

Back in the day :

Hope you enjoyed

He's gorgeous, and that 3rd piccy brought back some very happy memories for me, being such a close up, I could almost feel that lovely, horsey warm breath on my face (I was always shoving my face up to my horse's nostrils!Lol!)Call me weird if you like, but there's nothing quite like the warm, soft, breath of a horse on your face on a cold winter's morning

I had a 7/8 ID/tb, had him from a 3yr old right up to his grand old age of 21 (that's old for a tb!), had sooooo much fun with him, nobody else would dare climb aboard HIM but sadly, he got old and stiff (just like me) and it just wasn't fair to leave him moping around and lonely in a field, it wouldn't have suited him, so I had to say goodbye (with the advice of my vet), but he certainly lived a very exciting life with me (had horsebox of my own, we did it all!).

Thankyou for making my day with your very handsome boy

He is beautiful, I ride an Apoloosa x cob when I go riding, Smurf. Spock is gorgeous and I love his jumping - I have a lack of balance so I'd just fall off - I'm working on it though

Now you've brought back even more memories for me now, coz my horse was called Murphy (being Irish and all that!), and I nicknamed him Smurf coz of his huge ears! We seem to have a thing going on iin this house with huge ears methinks!
