Huffing Hound.....

Does anyone elses dog "huff" a lot??

Monty huffs/heavy sighs at me all the time. So far this evening since getting home at 5pm i've been huffed at for the following things:

* Having a shower
* Checking my FB and emails.
* Cooking chicken liver pate and not sharing
* Doing the dishes

I then took a break from chores to play with him as the huffing was driving me mad so we played tug in the living room and a bit of chase.

I then returned to chores and got huffed at for:

* Cleaning the turds off the lawn (Actually so we could play in the garden)
* Emptying the bin

I then decide he might be hungry and I get huffed at again for taking too long to mix his yoghurt into his dinner.

He's now currently taking a break from huffing after finishing his tea and wiping his dinner filled jowls on my shoulder! Lucky me!!

I've never known a dog "huff" so much, he's had a massive long walk today as well so it's not like he's had a boring day!!

Hehehe!

Maggie blows her lips out and does a nose snort at the same time whilst she is waiting for me to get her dinner ready. It's so funny, you can hear her in the next room.

Mo gives a loud groan from right down in her throat if things don't go her way.

Bryan's always groaning He groans when:

he gets scratched behind the ears,
when he scratches himself behind the ears,
when he stretches out on top of the sofa,
when he's falling asleep,
when he thinks it's time for a walk but it isn't.

I get double huffs!!!

They huff if I'm not doing something fast enough (and Murphy also whines for good measure), they huff if we are sat on the sofa and I DARE move, they huff when I send them to bed, and huff when I'm on the toilet or in the shower and huff when I'm on the computer....

I think it's a bit of a Boxer thing (and a Setter thing, and a PRT thing... etc)

Dougal huffs at me, puffs and yowls at me. Usually if he wants fed, or if I move over to the laptop from the couch, I get a double loud huff for moving (again).

Either that or if we are sitting watching tv and he wants on the couch, he sits his head on the couch and snores at us giving us puppy eyes the whole time...

Woody is the grumpiest dog I have ever known!! We called him Mr Grumble Bum when he was little as he would make this almost muttering under his breath sound whenever we scooped him up to time him out.

He huffs when he's bored, tired, being ignored, hungry, thirsty, wants to go out. He is always huffing, snorting, grumbling and sighing.
