Could it be juvenile vaginitus? Star had that when she was a pup. Every time she peed there was some green goo at the end.

Sounds to young for Pyometra and she won't have had a season anyway,as Carole says it is more like vaginitus..does it smell nasty? I would certainly go to the vets anyway .

Right, first I don't mean to disrespect anyone here, or go against any advice as many of you have had dogs for a hell of a lot longer than me. But...

Bolty, it doesn't matter how old she is, whether she's had a season yet, what colour the discharge is, whether it smells or not, how often she's weeing, what colour she is, who her parents are, or what you starsign is (okay, I'm getting fascitious now ) - unless I'm very much mistaken, none of us are vets on here. While some conditions are non-emergency enough to discuss ad lib on an Internet forum, many are not - if her discharge is as bad as you describe, phone a 24 hour vet immediately - that's now, not after discussing it a bit more, or having a little surf, or playing solitaire. Many infections are nothing to worry about, but some can cause toxicity, infertility etc etc. If it's nothing, you've lost nothing. If it's something serious, you'll be kicking yourself for not sorting it asap.

Apologies to anyone I've offended with this post .

Becs

Apology accepted Becs, you have said exactly what everyone else did, just with a little more drama.
