Hi Jessica, I thought when I saw the first picture of Chloe that she looked a very decent Labrador. Then I was pleased when I saw further down that she had alot of Charway breeding in her.

Janice Pritchard (who breeds the Charway Labradors) was a good friend of mine when we were both in our teens. In fact I started out my show handling career with a Charway Lab. His name was Charway Nightjar, a litter brother to Ch Charway Nightcap. This was one of the very earliest Charway litters born in Sept 1970, I was there for their birth. Janice now lives in Cheshire, and I'm still in Northumberland, so we don't see much of eachother nowadays.

Oh I've just come over all nostalgic.

Lovely Labradors Jessica.

Thanks Everyone

Nursey - We actually took Chloe to see Janice Pritchard as someone had recommended one of her dogs to us as being a good match for Chloe. I cant remember his name but it was something like Birchbrook BarleyWine or something along those lines - I can never remember these long names!!
She said that, as Chloe is a big dog herself, we would be best going for a slightly smaller dog to mate her with otherwise we'd end up with huge puppies and it was actually Janice who recommended Loughin Loomis!!

Yes Jessica, I've seen Birchbrook Barleywine of Charway, he's a chocolate isn't he. You can rely on Janice, she'll always be very honest and reliable.
