Pongo, male Boxer x Staffie, DOB 03.12
Pongo, Boxer x Staffie, DOB 03.12 – Godstone, Surrey
Homing Requirements: Pongo needs a family who have owned a dog before so that they can support his young dog ineptitude: He needs to be part of a dog centred family and ideally with children. He needs a secure garden with front door/back gate security. Pongo may go in with another receptive dog or as an only dog.
His Story: Pongo was found straying in North London and was unclaimed. He has been neutered and vax'd. Pongo is currently in boarding kennels near Godstone, Surrey.
Advert: Pongo has yet to be discovered by his 'to be family' but will be an absolute delight to them! He is receptive to all who enter his kennel and delighted at the hint of a walk. His tendency with the new is to slightly shy away but he soon adjusts and is easy on next encounter. He is an explorer and follows his nose. Pongo would benefit from a training course to grasp the attunement and expectations of his handlers and he will learn fast and true. We have not had the opportunity to see Pongo in a domestic setting.
Pongo is a medium sized dog with the most beautiful Boxer joules, dark brindle and white…such a soft coat. He has a ready smile and delights in the hint of a cuddle. He would love to be an inclusive family member on the sofa and beside your bed but may settle downstairs over night once adjusted. Pongo is enthusiastic, kind and joyful. He will make a terrific family pet but he first needs guidance and reassurance to find himself as any young dog does.
Please note that this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found.
