Stella, her hips and new dogmatic

Well as some of you know i had a huge blow a few weeks ago. With Stella and her hips. Well after getting told by a specialist that i have to walk her for 4 months on lead i decided to get a harness so it woudl be more comfortable for her. After a week of constant pulling i ordered a dogmatic a few days ago. It arrived this morning. Well Stella wasnt bothered at all when i put it on but she was like a bucking bronko on the field lol. I found out that as she is small it kept getting under her feet and getting tangled around her legs.

So now my poor little pup goes out with a flexi lead, put thro the D hole on her harness then attatched to the Dog Matic. Ive been on two walks so far and OMG what a difference. It really works im so impressed. She is already getting used to it.

So i must admit after consultant fee's, a harness, a dog matic and a tuffies bed and two 15kg bags of food all over the last week. I must say my bank account has gone down a bit lol.

She is well worth the money tho.

How did the Dogmatic headcollar get around her feet?

Sorry, I am clearly misunderstanding something

I was wondering the same...

Also, you should really try and acclimatize them to the head collar before you use it properly for walking. Otherwise they will object to it and make negative associations. They shouldn't be used in conjunction with a Flexi lead either.

Flexi goes on harness when walking on a field then goes on a standard length on the dog matic when walking the streets. the lead was getting tangled around her legs and she is small and kept putting her head on the grass lol
