Think it seems very common in Gundogs Sheree - but other breeds can get it.

I wouldn't dream of showing with it - we didn't go to agility last night - figured the tail is for balance so not worth it.

Maxy doesn't seem in any pain - I haven't tried to touch it - am keeping an eye on him though if he is uncomfortable wll get some painkillers for him.

awe never heard of this condition before, but having docked rotties I guess I wouldnt have, Im sure you rottie is ok though..

she is 17 months old,and no her tail has never been down,but in july she was spade

im sure she is ok, do you have any photos of her standing side on? poss you should get her a quick once over from the vet if you feel shes just not herself

My ACD bitch Brody has had it a couple of times but with over exertion rather than swimming. Tailed Rotties can suffer with it I have heard of a few cases.

Its not serious just can be painful and cause some discomfort Rest and pampering is my advice
