Do I go into work today?

Hi been off for the last two days with a heavy cold and chesty cough. Feel slightly better this morning but been up a lot of the night coughing. Do I go into work today or should I give it another day with my head over hot water and olbas oil to clear my airways?

I'd stay off today, you still sound poorly with it and you don't want to be passing it onto your lovely collegues now do you That would be selfish teehee.

You need to make sure that you feel better.

You know the feeling...... You think that you are okay...... then get in work and feel like S*** and wished that you had never gone in!!!! It makes it harder to go back home again... and all you want is your bed.

You've decided it for me. I'll go in tomorrow. Work know I'm not trying it on, went in on Monday with a cough and bunged up nose. If I hadn't been up coughing, may have gone in, but I'm shattered so will curl up on the sofa later, under a throw with the dogs alternating who's getting on with me, trawling the v+ box.

TBH, you would be better off taking today AND tomorrow off, plus the weekend, if you possibly can.

I'd agree with Vicki you don't want to set yourself back by going in too soon.

OH said the same thing about staying off tomorrow as well. Will see how i feel in the morning.
