I want to go and see it but we haven't got round to it because:

A) I have a stammer that only comes out really when I'm stressed or upset and I know how incredibly frustrating it can be when it does
B) Colin Firth is just lush (I went out with a bloke for a while who was the spitting double of him... and also had an incredibly lush dog)

I have a son who had a stammer when younger so am pretty sensitive about speech issues. but loved the film. It`s not about a magic `cure` but a wonderful story of someone learning to cope with and manage the stammer, and the ignorance of people round them. It`s inspiring.
