Opinions on rawhide?

Do you give your dogs rawhide chews?
Yes or no and why?

I don't like it or use it.
Some of it is preserved with the use of harmful chemicals .

Eww that doesn't sound good!

I'm trying to find something that's good for Alfie's teeth but also good for his tummy!

Fish doesn't agree with him and gives him an upset stomach unfortunately!

Well I say that.... It always did when he was little and he is now 4.... Can they grow out of things making their tummies dodgy?

I don't give my dogs it. Holly hates it so I don't buy it, I've never thought about buying it for Ted, he has other chews anyway.
How about a stagbar?. Although again I don't buy them as Holly hates them. I must add though that Holly is fussy with what chews she likes.
Holly loves beef scalp. I thought she was allergic to beef but she seems fine with beef treats so it seems not. It does smell though.

Holly and Ted love the Lilys Kitchen fish skins. It takes Ted a good 10 minutes to eat one.

Never heard of Lily's kitchen but their stuff looks fabulous!

May try him with a little fish to see if he still has a smelly reaction to it or not!

Strictly NO. With mastiffs, as the do not digest well and may cause blockage in the bowls.
