New jumper - first attempt!

Roux has a jumper arriving next week, but I decided to have an attempt of making one myself It's taken me most of the day! I haven't used a sewing machine in years, so I dug it out, got it all ready, found a basic pattern and just went for it! I've had to do a lot of unpicking and re-stitching, and I am questioning my decision to use sticky "non sew" velcro, but I don't think it looks too bad

Pictures from my phone, so the quality is awful...

The neck is slightly elasticated, so it pulls up over his ears, but it makes him look a bit like a thug!

Awww very cosey! I got a good coat for my baldybelliedstaffish this week from pets at home. It's called a walking coat and it has a removable fleece lining and a waterproof outercoat. Tonks only need it when on lead as she can't stand the rain when she is on lead but as soon as she is off lead she is fine. ....silly girl!

It's red!

Although I'm sure after it goes through the wash a few times, it will probably be a fetching shade of "salmon"

Aw Sez well done! Wish I had the ability (and patience) to do something like that!

Well done - looks lovely

(and if it does go pink, I wouldn't worry when faced with a black and a pink crate, Eddy always chooses the pink one! )
