AGV Free no longer free.

I've been using AGV Anti-virus 7.5 (free version) and now getting warnings that from 31 May I won't be able to download updates and I now need to buy AGV 8.

Has anyone else got this?

You can get the free version of avg 8 from here http://free.grisoft.com/

They will just stop supporting avg 7.5 after that date.

i got notification of that this morning. What it meant was that you need to download the free version of 8.0 because they would no longer update 7.5.

We knew what you meant!
I tried to download the free version for Rose but had problems even finding it without a subscription request coming up. I have the paid-for version these days so I didn't have the link I used to. Perhaps I should Google on version 8?

The anti virus we use and swear by is Avast. My husband works in IT and won't use anything else. It's free as well.
