That was close

Well we nearly lost Grey yesterday.
When I go out (the front door) he always wants to come with me and will sit at one of the windows till I come back, so normally I go out the back way and all is fine. Yesterday as the OH was in I went out the front way got in the car and off I go, a few mins later the OH had to pop out for the milk truck and came back just in time to see Greys tail going out the tiny window over the sink (I leave it open for the cats) so he rushes out and there is Grey running up and down the road (very quiet road) looking for me took the OH a bit of time to get him as he is definatly a mummys boy Thank god the OH saw him going out otherwise Poor cats will have to wait to come in in future.

How scary - but how on earth did Grey manage to get to a window above the sink?

Glad your OH managed to get him though!

Phew! Glad OH saw him before he had disappeared after you. I have to watch Allan's collie bitch because of this. He rarely leaves her behind but if he has to for any reason, she can't be left in the garden on her own as she will easily scale a 6ft fence and race off after him.

They are amazing when they really want to get out they seem to be able to scale anything.

He had to jump up on the sink first and then its only just up a bit from that but it is quite a jump on the outside, and unfourtunatly it goes out into the farmyard and not out into the enclosed garden.
