Pomroy pack quarantined - Molly has KC

What a nightmare! For a few days she has coughed when she pulled against her lead, I thought that was the reason, but last night she was hacking her little heart out bless her and she is wheezy.

So far Jack and Maia are showing no symptoms, so fingers crossed they have an immunity to this particular strain.

Molly Sprocket is on Honey & Lemon cough syrup, Homeopathic coughbomb and lots of TLC.

We have a Vet apmt booked for 5pm just in case she gets worse later today, thank goodness I am working from home today.

I'm sorry to hear this. Both mine have it so I've kept them in isolation - no walkies but plenty of training and play in the garden to wear them out. Both are on antibiotics...

Poor doglets, I never want to experience KC EVER again, its Nasty with a capital N and there is nothing you can do to ease their discomfort it seems.

Jack was up all night, hacking up nasty stuff, Molly was a little better she managed to get some sleep, which is more than I can say for Gary and I who took it in turns to nurse Jack who was really suffering and getting distressed.

Cough bomb (Homeopathic stuff) seems to be doing the trick, but it could also be the Warm honey, Honey & Glycerin cough mixture, AB's and AI's that we are shoving down their throats.

If anyone has any ideas on how to make them more comfortable, answers on a postcard, as we are at our wits end

awe, I have had it in my lot a couple of times, its horrid,

theres really not much you can do but give them there cough meds, keep them warm and quiet, not allow them to run as it can damage the lungs, hope they are better soon, big hug
