First Show (Marius) - update!

Thanks for your good wishes everyone

We got third out of four dogs, so at least we weren't last lol! I was pleased with him, especially as we nearly missed the class!!!!

I could have been better prepared as I ended up running late going there as Tito managed to get his claw stuck in a toy hanging in his cage and I had to cut his claw free and it wouldn't stop bleeding for ages.

I got there literally as the class before Rotties was being judged - only had time to get his show collar and lead on and straight in so he didn't have time to settle. As a result he wouldn't stand still for the judge to see his teeth and messed about a bit. But he probably felt through the lead that I was a bit harrassed with rushing!!

I bet top show handlers don't have issues like this lol

Anyway, it hasn't put me off - I've just filled in two Open Show entries I collected on the way out for Jan & Feb next year:smt002

Well done Marius,bet your pleased too.I do the same by entering the wee open shows it's good practise for Asta and I.She wasn't very happy in her last show with the mouth thing but was loads better today.Get him back in again,the more the merrier,xxxxxxxxxxx

Get him entered for more shows, the more he's in the ring the quicker he'll settle. Well done by the way.
