I have babies

On Saturday night I spent the night at my mums house with the kids and dogs and when I got back yesterday Smudge our female rat had a nest full of babies ,I thought she was pregnant but didnt think she would have them so soon
I'm not sure how many she has yet but when she got out of the nest to get the toilet it looked like about 8 but hard to tell as I didnt get a very good view
I'll try to get some piccys to post once they are a bit bigger as I dont want to upset her with her new babies

They are born without fur.
Guinea Pigs are the only animal (as far as I know), born with fur, eyes open, and on solid foods!
