No ... Not the injection. Have heard nothing good about having the injection!!! It does not let your body do its natural monthly things. That cant be good for it! Just my opinion.

It's always best to check these things Gems. My friend, was on Dianette and an acne treatment called Roaccutane, and one night she took a paracetamol for a headache and woke up to find her pillow covered in blood. She went straight to the hospital they say that the different pills had caused the lining of her stomach to break away and cause hemorrhaging.

Yes Gems STAY CLEAR of the jag.

I put on 2 stones with the jag and had horrible side effects. My friend also went on it and put on substantial weight gain.

Olive sorry to hear about your cellulite I dont have that problem and taken it for 6 years.

I think other medication would be okay unless it says somewhere not to take. I take my pill and am on Metformin tablets for my PCOS and no problems with that.

I'm on Cerazette...its a mini pill so you must take it at the same time every day.....it does not cause weight gain and my skin is very good....I don't often get periods either and when I do they are very light and short

I have been taking an oral contraceptive called " TriNovum" for four years and it has given me terrible acne and I recently stopped taking it and I'm now thinking about getting an IUD fitted which used to be called a "coil". It's just a bit of metal so it means I wont be putting any hormones into my body so I wont suffer with this acne anymore. It might be an option you could think about?

im on the pill injection and havent had any side effects? whats wrong with it? its meant to be safer cancer wise than the pill, which i was originally on. I was on microgynon 30 and didnt have any side effects from that either.

as far as my gp told me, the pill doesnt itself make u gain weight, but it increases ur appetite.

Sorry guys can't help with this, being insulin dependant diabetic I cant use any contraceptive pills! Hence the 4 children .........lol.....no only joking! Eldest daughter tried the lowest/mildest pill and she passed out only 1 hour after taking it, so the doctor said she won't EVER be able to take the pill, which is very worrying when you have a 16 year old daughter!!!
