Being a meat eater I have no objection to leather nor sheepskin, if we did not use them it would be a waste

i think the problem is people doing it when the animal is still alive!!

Was replying to someone who said wearing fur was disgusting, but, of course, whether an animal is being used for food or clothing it should be humainly killed first.

My stepmother-from-hell used to wear a fox fur with a head on ...it used to make me want to throw up....and she had a mink coat ....that just about sums her up really killing animals humanly for meat and using the skin is one thing, killing animals for fashion is a totally different thing

I seen somthing on tv today saying that fur is becoming the must have fashion and all the designers are using it at the moment
to put an animal to death for fashion is just evil

Using animals as accessories whether alive or dead amounts to much the same thing, to some people animals are a status symbol or a fashion statement, whether alive or dead makes no difference to me they are being used for nothing more than personal vanity and to my mind is not acceptable, in some cases it may be better that the poor things are dead at least they do not have to suffer being treated as a commodity to boost some persons self esteem.

S/M/F/H had been a fashion buyer for a big store, I am sure if I could have been skinned and hung around her neck she would have done that too Snow Whites S/M was a puscat in comparison I thought the anti fur adverts they used to show where the fur coat turned into a bloody animal were very good

also makes me sick seeing the hypocritical models who did the ads against wearing fur (and getting paid for it) and now some do

wearing fur is wrong, never mind showing how its done
