Hello there!

Hello. I am new to this site - So Hello Everyone!

I currently have 10 dogs - 8 Cavaliers of varying ages from 12 weeks to 3 years (Half of which are homebred boys and girls that I have kept) a Groenendal BSD and a Border Collie.

I do a little bit of dog showing over the Winter, but mainly during the Summer I show my Mountain & moorland Ponies to a very high level.

I also do low key obedience with most of the Cavaliers and the Collie. With the exception of the very young one all the Cavaliers and the Collie have passed their Bronze or Silver KCGC.

The BSD is a bit of a Victor Meldrew character so he doesnt go competing! LOL! But he's getting on a bit now (9 or 10) and was a rescue so I don't know much about his history.

The BC is another Rescue, who had a lot of issues with confidence when he came, but has blossomed in the year or so he's been with me and has just started comepting in obedience this year.

He managed to be in the lead til the last 3 dogs in his first competition, then we had to have a run off with the others as we were all on the same score! His noviceness showed thorugh and he anticipated a little on his recall, losing half a mark, which gave him 2nd place! Not bad for his frist one though!

All the Cavaliers are cheeky, but well mannered and love to be out round the yard or up the fields chasing rabbits - coming back looking like Worzel Gummage, with half a hedge tangeld up in their ears and tails!

Hello Cavlova, you'll love this site, I'm quite new here and everyone is so friendly and helpful. One word of warning though, it is so addictive, my O/H keeps finding me still surfing in the early hours of the morning, I just can't get enough.lol
