Morning all. Well what a beautiful morning. Blue skies, sun and frosty, just how I like it. Hope you all have a lovely day.

Morning brenda and all to follow.
Same here brenda and it was a lovely day yesterday too, due to the weather and a lovely catch up with my friend Bev and Boo.

We booked a few days away last night in a cottage in Suffolk, not far from Framlingham, Aldeburgh, all around that area. An old haunt where we used to go on holidays a lot when the boys were little.
We leave Monday and come home Thursday.
We have been trying to find the time to get a little time for ourselves after the sad Brewster outcome and at last we have a few days to be able to do it.
No Freya on Monday as Mark is on holiday as of this weekend.
Hopefully we can reset now like Brewster has so much sadness in the last couple of months, we need it.

brenda I guess you have noticed the mornings are getting lighter and I have heard the birds singing by 6.30 am over the last few days.
Sue I hope you have a calm weekend.
griff I hope you got to see Steve and that he and you are on the road to recovery.
Chris I hope Ted is still improving.
Kazz as always enjoy your day.

Well I have been for a lovely walk along beside the beach. Saw people I know with their dogs. Sadly Lynn now that the tree has been decimated I doubt I will see many birds that used to be around. I did see a loan squirrel. My seagulls came to see me so I gave them a crust. Have a lovely time away. Send me a postcard if you find one.

Good morning Brenda and Lynn

Pleased you enjoyed your walk Brenda. Shame about the tree but it should grow back ok

Lovely Lynn you both deserve a break.

Lovelymorning here so far but clouds on the horizon. Teazle walked, housework done and on one banking checked and uo today. Now coffee before filling the garden bin with twigs and branches ready to go out tomorrow. Popping out this afternoon to look at some walking shoes so that I can break them in before our holiday, they will also be handed for wet weather before then.

Take care everyone

Good afternoon all.

Work this morning and we had a hard frost first thing but the day has turned out quite nice I was in work though LOL

Is anyone going to watch the new TV show channel 4 from Monday "Jury" looks interesting.

Brenda have they had complaints about the tree or is it simply too close to the building so they had cut back for possible maintance issues?

Sue Hope you find the shoes you want and are your green waste people starting already do not satrt till March here. Mind you with Birmingham council not sure what services have curved the cull. Yet have heard nothing on those responsible for the oversights and no comeback on them amazing if it were you or I in a job we would be held responsible here it seems no one is.

Lynn That sounds lovely a break away and soon to be nice enough to be away with the caravan as well. Yes I think you need to reset yourselves and be selfish for you and Gorden.

Chris Hope you are having a great day out adn about with the mighty Ted and he is on the mend.

Griff Did Steve pick you up or are you still stood waiting LOL

Did you find some shoes you liked Sue ?
Kazz yes we have to be selfish to ourselves now for a few days. Brewster having to go back and be rehomed did nothing I can assure for our relationship for a couple of weeks.
We are now moving past it, so these few days away will help even more.

The Ukrainian Bernese in need group I belong to had walks today all over the country to make some money for the feeding and vet bills needed in Ukraine.
It's the 2 year anniversary of Russia invading Ukraine today
They do raffles too, some walks had to be cancelled due the state of the ground and it being unsafe but some went ahead, they have raised so much money to help.
Gorden and I donated some money, we could have attended one of the walks without a dog but neither of us felt at this moment that we can participate in anything Bernese while our hearts heal.

Good evening all

Beautiful day here.

Ted was being a barky little hooligan this morning. He's not fully right and now seems a bit constipated so no doubt that added to his frustrations. He was also bringing up bile this morning so a close eye is to be kept and vets again on Monday if nothing changes (or before if we think he needs it)

Printer searching tonight as Gary's is broken. He'd be better with a laser printer but he's insisting he needs colour and I'm not sure how good colour laser printers are. If anyone has one, please let me know what they are like.

Enjoy your break away Lynn. I'm sure you'll love it

They cut a tree down in the field at the back of us a few years ago. We never did find out the reason why

Sorry to hear Ted's still not quite right Chris.
Sorry can't help with the laser printer we have an ordinary black & white and colour printer with a scanner.
