Sneezing? Puking? Getting Ready to Check Out? Rat Question

Weird if one of the cats or dogs was doing it I would say indigestion. The oldest rat was like burping and squeaking. I held her for awhile and she seemed okay. Any idea? Maybe she ate too fast, not choking, that was the first thing I was afraid of. Keep an eye on her, might be nothing.

I know absolutely nothing about rats so can't really help
Sounds as if your cuddle helped, so maybe do that and see how she gets on.
Good luck, hope she is well.

I'm with Nippy. Sadly I know nothing about rats. I wanted one as a child, but my mother said they were "filthy" and she got me a cat instead (before that, they only kept dogs). I have a hunter cat, so it would be dumb to try and keep one now.

I hope your little girl is okay. I hear rats don't live long. I've never wanted a huge dog for that reason, it would break my heart if it died just as we bonded and became best friends.

Rats can't burp or vomit so I would go with having eaten a bit too fast and choked herself

Hope some of these help

Just keep an eye on her, if she does it again for a few days, a trip to the vets might be needed...

Thanks for the input guys, cava thank you so very much for the video-that is exactly what she was doing. Checked her this morning and she seems fine. I mix kibble and nuts in with their chow, Guess something just went down the wrong way.
