Wow some clever dogs on Dogsie

Luchi knows so far:
  • Come (also returns to whistle or clap)
  • Sit (from down or standing)
  • Down
  • Head down (puts head on paws when in down position)
  • Paw
  • Other paw
  • Wave (sits on haunches and raises paws in air)
  • Stand on hind legs (if I lift both my arms up)
  • Bed (means settle down/sleep)
  • Quiet
  • Wheres Stephen (my partner)
  • Wheres Christine (me)
  • Go find it (incorporates sniffing object, waiting for me to hide it without moving, waiting for me to return, go find it, then sniffs out object)
  • Wait (Same as stay, but can be used to wait for anything)
  • Stop (when walking ahead of us)
  • point (put paw on any target object)
  • Touch (bumps hand/object with nose)
  • Give it to me (twigs/stones etc)
  • Can I have it?
  • Show me.(to make sure object is not dangerous)
  • Go to kitchen
  • On your mat
  • Whats this?
  • Lets go (move on)
  • go over there.
  • Off
  • Leave it (undesirable objects on walks)
  • Ball
  • rope
  • toy
  • Be good girl (whispered) She settles down at my feet (usually lol)
  • Gentle (takes things very gently).
  • kiss kiss.
  • Wee Wee
  • Water

That's all I can think of at the mo, teaching her close, and around (go around me and sit on left side) at the mo, would love to teach her some heel work to music, as it looks so much fun.

I don't know if I've ever answered this one, so here's what Dahlia knows. This includes basic obedience, tricks, and other things.

Sit
Down
Stay (from standing, sitting, or laying down)
Wait (I use this differently from stay -- stay means I'm coming back and don't move until I'm there; wait means wait until I give you the release command to come to me)
Ok (release command)
Come
Stop (means to stop moving and stand in place -- she is currently learning to do this while I continue walking)
Slow (slow down your pace)
Hup! (means speed up -- no clue how I settled on this one)
Cross (means cross the road quickly)
Up the stairs (she likes to sniff around the bushes so I taught her "up the stairs" which means to head up the porch and to the door)
Leave it
Relax (stand still on a loose leash -- this is part of the "look at that" game for me when she sees another dog)
Look (with me pointing to where I want her to look; usually at geese on the other side of the field)
Go get 'em! (Chase the geese!)
Crate
Through (tunnel)
Over (jump)
Sit pretty ("beg")
Stand (on her hind legs)
Back up (walk backward away from me)
Walk
Ride
Tell me something (which is an attention getter, basically a "look at me" command)
All gone (foods all gone, kiddo!)
Up (jump up on me)
Wrong way! (when she goes the wrong way around something or heads in a different direction on a walk)
This way! (accompanied by pointing in the direction I want her to go)

Hmmmm...let me see...

Sit
Down
Stand
Wait (can be called back to me when I want)
Stay (not to move until I go back to him)
Come
Tap (right paw)
Touch (left paw)
In your bed
Dinner
Garden
Leave it
Drop it (although this is RUBBISH)
Up (jumps)
Rollover (recent addition)
Find it
Close
Round the back/front (depending on which door we're going into the house)
Fetch
Gentle (always has to be told or fingers are lost)

Stuff used for agility:

Jump
Weave (usually in a ridiculous, high pitched tone)
Left/right
Walk (for a-frame and dogwalk)
Steady (in an attempt to get contacts!)

Bit overwhelmed but Meg only knows a few

(Greyhound so can't 'sit').

- Paw
- Wait/stay
- walk on (when she waits at the edge of a pavement before we cross the road)
- Down (from the sofa or bed although this takes a few attempts still..)
- Up (jump)

And only does this with my bf, no one else:
"Where is he?" and she'll go to the front door if he's at work, back door if he's outside or to the window in our bedroom upstairs if she can hear his motorbike pulling up.

Currently learning:
- Close (when walking she'll go to whichever side of you what's making you between her and the pavement).
- Leave it
- Open (mouth to check her teeth, although this one has taken a year and she still only opens a little bit..)
