Young Robin (non dog)

Sat on one of the gates, he pops in the kennels for a look now and again, just a youngster, not got his "hat" fully yet!
Dawn.

Nic pic - almost posing!
We've got a female blackbird that now comes in at work and curses us if we're a bit slow dishing out the food!

Excellent picture Dawn...I'm impressed how you got a close up and clear picture without him flying away too soon

Excellent picture Dawn, we have fledglings too but they wouldn't pose like that. Saw my first Nuthatch this morning too, just beautiful

Thanks all. I love Nuthatches, the blue and creamy pink is lovely, they like feeding upside down too!
Dawn.

Very sweet I love Robins though they are very fierce. I once saw a pair of cocks fight to the death. During our holiday in Wales there was a tame robin who sat on the table on the terrace when we ate supper, and on the bottom half of the stable door in the kitchen.. I wish I had thought to photograph him he was so cheeky

Fantastic pic, just love robins!

I found out last week that we have had a bald blackbird coming into our garden for the last 2 years! Will have to get a pick, it looks really weird! Seems to manage though he/shes really fat!
