Skernedale fun obedience match!

Well we got all set up in our wet weather gear and headed to Skernedale in Darlington for a fun obedience match. It was run alongside an exemption show so there was huge crowds around as well. There was 45 dogs entered in Indys class and right at the end they announced she had a run off for first place!!!!!!!

Felix!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd only entered him for a bit of fun as he usually gets distracted at training watching other people. But as soon as he stepped in the ring he switched back to the 'old' Felix before he was attacked. He really loved being back in the ring and did lovely work! He even snogged the judge in the end!

In the end Indy came first and Felix second but out of 45 dogs I was totally gobsmacked! Some of the people there are much more experienced than us! I was hoping Indy might scrape into the rossettes but to win it shows how far she's come! and Felix! i'm just gobsmacked!!!!!!!!

I may just have! Indy was leading the class after her round at Redcar but broke the down stay - distance control was a ring or so away and someone was shouting 'Indy' before each command, she resisted three but on the 'Indy up' she sat up in the down stay

We were going to wigton this weekend but its been cancelled now x
