Petrol Prices

Looks like Morrisons may be starting up their petrol price wars with the other supermarkets again.

This morning their Petrol had dropped to £1.179 a litre for unleaded, as opposed to everyone else who are still at £1.209 - £1.219 a litre.

not sure if it's something just local to here (Sheffield) or if they've taken it nationwide but definately worth checking if you've got a Morrisons close by.

I heard ASDA are doing the same at some of their stations. I can't believe prices are as high as they are.

I stopped at ASDA in Bristol last night, and was amazed to see Unleaded at £1.159 and Diesel at £1.179 - needless to say I was very pleased I did not stop at Gordano where it was in the high £1.20's!

I noticed a few places yesterday who had dropped their prices to 117.9p (think that is how it's typed ) I was watching an episode of Still Game the other night (Scottish comedy) and they were in a petrol station at the time. The petrol only cost something like 75p As you can guess it was filmed a few years ago but if only it would go back to that price!!

Many, many years ago, when I was a little girl (yes that long ago ) I can remember the outcry when petrol went up to 50p a gallon

I got some for 121.9 on Tuesday but Thursday night one of the garages had it for 120.9 have noticed Tesco are down to 120.9 as well at the moment.

It has been 123-4.9 recently. Unleaded.
