Well it's a bit late but good luck - I hope all went well.

I've got to say though I'm surprised at all the "give him what for" replies on this thread. I can appreciate you being annoyed that you have to go through this if you have not done wrong but how exactly does everyone expect SW's to do their jobs properly if they are not allowed to investigate reports in this way? Are they supposed to just know which reports are valid and which are not without doing any investigation??

I imagine the SW will be very happy if they visit and can see all is well - is there really any reason to make them feel bad for doing their job?

Shame they didn't "do their job" with the Baby P and Victoria C cases. They like to investigate the sticky beak complaints but when a family is in trouble and there's all sorts going on, seems to be they don't want to get their hands dirty Sorry, have no time for them at all Too many ballsups for my liking!

Or everything?

Or look in their crystal ball to find out which reports are valid?
