I was phone-tapped a couple of times in the 60s. (I worked as a volunteer for Release). I doubt things have got better since!
Anyone who believes their phone or PC is secure is living in cloud-cuckoo land IMO. There was a concerted `attack` this week on the US Gvt. sytem which took down a lot of official sites.

There is no doubt in my mind that we are being listened too and watched at every opportunity these days. I'm certain I have had some of my calls 'listened' too and sometimes you can tell with a slight clicking so then I start talking about anything and everything and then the clicking stops!
