I've finally sold my surfboard ;o(

I've just been notified that my dear friend Gerbil has finally been sold. It's been sitting in my friend's shop for about a year waiting to bring me some cash.

I had the board custom built for me when I was living in Bondi, Australia and we have had many years of fun since! Gerbil (it's considered good luck to name your board) travelled all the way up the east coast and back with me in Betty the van. It has broken the bridge of my nose, cracked a chunk off my right hand rib, pinned me under and nose dived me more times than I care to admit, but overall it was a blast!

So long Gerbil, you'll be sorely missed but fondly remembered!

We've just discussed it actually and we're going to put it towards our 1st anniversary weekend instead and use wages to clear debt. A much nicer thought ;o)

I was there for a year. Must for me were little gems along the East coast, Seal Bay etc and definitely hiring a van, it's the only way!! Other than that I loved Sydney and Belongil Beach in Byron is what I like to call home ;o)
