Time your dog gets his/her last walk?

What time is your last walk with your dog?

I usually take mine out between 6pm and 7pm. But looking at some posts on here it seems rather too early?

My last *walk* with the dogs is generally before dark (whenever that is depending on the time of year!), but I do let them out before bed too for 15-20 mins to mooch around the garden and yard and go to the loo before bed etc.

My last walk with my dog depends on the time of the year as I too don't usually go out after dark. But we do go out very early in the morning all through the year.

Moobli and Talassie,

What happens when it starts getting dark at 3pm-4pm in the winter?

I only walk my dogs once a day - but it is for 2 or 3 hours. I do chuck them out into the back garden for a widdle before i go to bed though.

Then I settle in for the evening.
Tala gets three or four walks a day, quite often we walk for 2 hours but all walks are at least 1/2 hour. On a winter evening we do a bit of obedience in the house and some games and she has kongs etc and she goes into the garden to toilet before bedtime. We go to training one evening a week.
I have never walked my dogs on dark evenings but don't mind going out in the dark early in the morning in winter.

Well I am fortunate in that I live on a hill farm (on a grouse moor) and my dogs are generally outside (in the garden or land around our cottage) most of the day, so I would still give them their last walk around 3pm or 4pm and then they will be able to mooch around the land after dark. I sometimes take them on one of the tracks with a torch too.
