Got a pass for fishing the mill waters £40 for the season... good fishing too, be lucky to get a days fishing for that sorta money.... just gotta get sorted out with some gear... any tips would be welcomed

I have done a bit of coarse fishing with son/step son and caught mainly inedible fish (try cooking a chub it is like eating needles ) the best bit about fishing was it gave me an excuse to sit and ponder on the riverbank and watch the wildlife
Have fished the Teme/Herefordshire Wye and the Severn.
At home as a child tried to catch trout in the Dove and failed miserably...

I used to think that too... but I'm thinking change boring for relaxing...... Anyway, I'm kinda into outdoors so with the sore foot hampering my climbing, I thought this would be a good alternative... also with me camping a lot.. adds a wee bit to that too..... Will see how it goes anyway
