Most coated breeds now have much 'bigger' coats than they used to. Those that have changed the least are the Parson Russells, very similar to pictures I have over 100 years old.
Breeds will evolve to fit the 'job' that they are now required to do in modern society, those that used to hunt are now no longer needed so they have been altered to be companions, the yorkie was a ratter with a shortish coat but now has a full coat.

Can anyone find a breed that is reg under the kennel club, that has not been changed (physically)?
Changed since when, 50 years ago, 100 years ago, since their inception?

Lifestyle/different feeding/natural evolution/selective breeding means most living things have change slightly over time and that include humans.

Some breeds of dogs have changed very little but may look different to their older counterparts because they are presented differently with more profuse furnishings.

The Cavalier is actually a 'recreation', breeders started breeding for shorter and shorter faces resulting in the King Charles. Someone decided they weren't happy with that and offered a prize for someone who had the best 'original' looking toy spaniel and the Cavalier was reborn!

You know what, I don't think the Bullmastiff has changed much. They seem to have got fatter - but thats because their owners feed them too much! Teagan is more like the original Bullmastiffs - with the longer nose, and slimmer.
Now there also seems to be more Fawn/Reds, whereas originally, there were more brindle, as they were less visible at night.

i have to say tegan is a fine example of a bullmastiff, but some bullmastiffs they seem to be alot heavier built than in the 1800 hundreds

Yes that's true, the CKCS was bred from a cross of a Pug, and I cant remember what else!

Also, the Bullmastiff is absolutly goregoes breed. My dad owns a bullmastiff.
