I'm on Blueyonder (Telewest) 3MB service...........very quick!! and with the microsoft SP2 update recently, glad I have got it or I would still be downloading when the SP3 came out...........lol.

I'm on tin can and string down here in technological backward Cornwall, were hoping to upgrade to dial up shortly, soon as we get some telephone lines and an exchange.
before the tin can and string we were on signal mirrors during the daytime, although signal strength was variably due to the sun going behind a cloud, night time we used bonfires which were quite good but there again signal strength was variable in wet and windy weather.

Broadband......... is that a thicker then normal elastic band. :smt026

how annoying was that dial up noise when trying to connect -
and deciding whether or not to check your emails while aslo waiting for a phone call
