Just adopted 14 month old black lab dog

Hi,
I have a 15 year old golden retriever called Sandy, she is absolutely gorgeous and have recently fostered and now adopted a 14 month old black labrador , Archie. He is very energetic and would like to start agaility training with him, not sure if he can go straight into it or have other training first.
