Axel and my nephew! (greyhound)

There is a [a social network] group claiming all greyhounds can't tell the difference between children and small furries, Axel definately disproves this.

We haven't had Axel long (8 weeks) but he's proved to be excellent with children, showing no displeasure with them being around and on a recent walk, even choosing to walk alongside my 3 year old nephew (who says Axel is now his best friend!)

Aw how lovely great pics x
I sometimes look after a greyhound who lives with no children, after she leaves my house she pines for my children for a couple of days. They are wonderful with kids, dont know how people think they are not!!

They are lovely pictures, especially the one of them having a cuddle. As for greys thinking kids are small furries, what a load of rubbish! I've never met a grey that hasnt been great with kids. I used to babysit for a family that had four greys and four young children. They never had a single problem!

Thanks all, we think he's lovely As for greyhounds and children, I've not heard of a child aggressive one yet. I've heard of a couple who 'put themselves away' when they come over, but most are like Axel, gentle, loving and fun-loving

His muzzle - http://greyhoundgap.proboards.com/in...d=44981&page=1

If that doesn't work, I'll have to pm it to you, but this is so anyone interested can see where to get them
