Daily Chat Sunday 30th August

Good morning everyone

Do hope you hear from your consultant soon Kelly

Overcast and windy today. Teazle walked and veg prepared for lunch. Just the dead leaves to clear round the house and make some muffins later

Hope all are well

Have a good day and stay safe.

Hiya all

Lovely day here brought some new jeans yesterday and rinsed them through on the line and bedding in machine. Did a big shop at Asda yesterday no where near busy which was lovely. Paid the car tax and got the car to book in for MOT this month too. Nothing more planned than taking Gert out and about.

Good morning all.

A lovely sunny morning here albeit on the cool side. It was forecast overcast all day so a surprise bonus.

I'll be glad when this week is over and we can start going for our walk later again. At the minute we are setting off at 9 am to avoid the crowds. Hopefully, after this week we can go back to 10 am.

Well, an afternoon of housework lined up. I hate housework. Ah well, sooner I get started, sooner it gets done.

Kelly, I hope your scan comes through quickly for you. It must be very worrying. Moyra, I hope the hip settles down soon

Lol....I am not going to eat them!! Some for steve and some for mum and dad when they get back.... although my mum didn't sound impressed.
Just had mash carrots peas and gravy for dinner, the dogs had the same but no gravy and some biscuits, they have been good girls mostly so a little treat for them

'afternoon all

Griff - I do like scones especially if straight out of the oven

Weather has been cool but no rain today.

I went to a 'Pet Service' today, it was held outside the church and included songs such as 'All creatures great & small' and the old favorite 'Old Macdonalds farm' (which I haven't sung since I was a kid ) I took Xena and she was absolutely perfect, someone brought a donkey which we were advised to keep a distance from as it was a tad crotchety made a nice change from our usual Sunday afternoons

Enjoy the holiday tomorrow folks see you soon.
