Daily Chat Thursday 27th August

Good morning everyone

Ouch Chris do hope your foot is a little better today.

Overcast at the moment but warm. Nothing planned so will see what it throws at me

Hope all are well

Have a good day and stay safe.

Good morning Sue and all to follow. Had another bad night but glad to get up. Leg seems a little better this morning thank God but my hip kept going into spasms if I moved in bed. I had to apply Deep Freeze to it around 2am to see if that would help. Actually if I had thought of it the quinine I take to stop night cramps in my legs and feet would have helped if I had taken another tablet.

I hope you and your four legged friends are all ok. Have a good day, take care and please stay safe and well. God bless.

Morning Sue, Moyra and all to follow.
Turned out nice and sunny and warm here after a doubtful looking start to the day.
Hopefully a good day to get the decking finished cannot hang washing out at the moment due to the fact it will get covered in sawdust if I do.

Moyra sorry the leg was bad again in the night. Did the phone consult happen yesterday ?

Hope everyone and all four legged friends are well today.

'morning everyone

Moyra - So sorry to read your leg is still bad, if the quinine helps then do take it, and please do get on to your doctor and ask for something, there must be something they can prescribe to stop the pain. Hugs from here.

Sun is out, haven't spotted any damage from Tuesday night storms, and hoping to get out in the garden a bit today.

See you soon

Afternoon peeps. Just spring cleaned the inside of my kitchen cupboards. Well it is nearly in New Zealand according to my cousin over there. rain here in Lancing. Makes it easier to pull up the weeds.

Thanks Harvey, I may phone the docs tomorrow to see if there is anything I can do to alleviate it. Can taking too many painkillers aggravate the problem? I cannot see that it can but if its aggravating my kidneys then that might be the cause of the spasms in my right hip area?

The consultation with the Renal Specialist didn't happen unless I got my dates wrong and it is next Wednesday at 10 am? My brain is addled. Lol.

I know nothing about medical matters but I thought the kidneys were a long way from the hip joint. There might be a connection but you need the doctor to sort that out, get onto them Moyra you must not let them ignore you.

Hi all.

A limp around town on our walk this morning, but a lot easier than yesterday so the foot is on the mend.

A very optimistic valuation on the flat today - some £25,000 over what we think it might bring, but we are in no hurry so we'll let 'em give it a go at the £75,000 the lady seems adamant it's worth. I think it's a good job we aren't in a hurry personally

Plumber has 'phoned and we are booked in for week commencing the 7th of September so at least that's moving a bit.

Gary's windows have now been cleaned - yay!

So, all in all a productive day for us.

Moyra, I do hope you can get some relief from your pain. You shouldn't be constantly suffering as you do. Use the doctors - that's what they are there for.
