Morning Dogsey Daily Thread Monday

Good morning all Dogsey Peeps

I'm sure some of you will have that Monday morning feeling, I don't suffer with any of that as I don't have to do the daily grind anymore, but I do feel a bit bleurgh this morning having been woken at 5, then again at 6 when Dave left for work.

Looks like another clear, sunny day here, be it a cold one, so I think a beach run is in order if the tide isn't all wrong this week, which I don't think it is.

I've got the dentist at 10, but it's all painfree, just a partial dental fitting, and only 3 more visits to go, before I get some new, sparkly white fronts. Will be thinking of you today Moyra, cos I'm afraid yours will be a tad more traumatic than mine will, but just think about how you will be totally painfree afterwards. Good luck today Moyra.

Lynn, I expect Gorden will be making his way back this morning, and what a great week-end you've both enjoyed there.

June, good luck with Lona's meeting today, have a safe journey, hope everything goes to plan.

Jenny, shame you didn't get some of that special time with Rucksack yesterday, but I'm sure there will be another time for that. Hope those boys are still happy and healthy this morning.

Bev, hope you've had a lovely week-end with Charly andAsh not forgetting Harley and I'm looking forward to seeing some more fab pics from you.

Well, I'm going to check on the tide times and get myself down to the beach before that school run amasses around me.

Enjoy your day everyone

Morning H and all,

Yes I have that Monday morning feeling and am having trouble getting myself together for work.
I am totally shattered after all the hours I worked last week and I havn't stopped all weekend.
Its been lovely having Charly and Ash staying but very hectic, in fact so hectic I am afraid I have no photos. I have also been busy at mums this weekend so didn't get to spend as much time with Charly and Ash as I would have liked and couldn't be here to see them off when they left.
I think they are back in a couple of weeks time for my birthday though, which will be nice.

Good luck at the dentist H and Moyra.

Hope everyone else ok. I really must go and get ready for work.

Morning Helena and Bev.

Gorden home an extra day Helena. Sunny here and very frosty.
Sounded like you had a good weekend which must of been really nice. Enjoy the walk and hope the tides are right today.
Morning Bev. I hope the day doesn't drag and you can get back home to rest asap.

Sunny and frosty here and I had a good nights sleep and did I need it. Obviously getting too old for socialising till the early hours. I must of slept so soundly I thought it was next week when I woke up. I got in a pnaic about the clocks going forward.
Gorden home till tomorrow which is nice.

Moyra thinking of you today.
June thinking of you too and the drive. Hope it all goes well and safe journey.
Jenny I hope the boys are ok might be worth getting them to check if it did indeed end up being a 6 month implant.
I hope everyone else and doglets are well.

Morning Helena, Bev and fellow members,

Off to visit Mum this morning who I haven't visited in two weeks. A thick frost outside but lots of sun and blue sky so hopefully it will be a nice day

I'm running a little late this morning even though I've been up since 6

Enjoy your day everyone and see you later.

Morning H, Morning all

Helena, hope you enjoy your walk on the beach.

MM Take it easy when you finish work, make sure you do rest.

Lynn, it's nice that Gorden is home for an extra day. Enjoy.

Jenny, enjoy your visit with your Mum.

I haven't had a decent sleep, cause Brian came home last night and has been coughing since, he just couldn't settle for coughing last night poor thing. So I came downstairs with the sleeping bag, then had Dougal waking me at 5am wanting a widdle...if it was Brian down here he'd sleep till I got up then ask for out! Wee git. Anyway, he took ages to settle back down and drove me nuts pacing around. When he did settle, I only got an hours more sleep before I had to get up to get Davie up!

So guess what I'm doing soon, that's right, going back to sleep (with any luck). Soooo tired. On the plus side it's lovely and sunny out so I think a walk down the beach myself is on the cards later. Then get a washing out to dry. That's the extent of my plans for today so far. More housework but not too much.

Have a nice day folks.

Morning everyone
Fell asleep on sofa so hubby woke me and made me go to bed lol so did a catch up on last nights posts
Yes Lacey looking forward to shopping for Christmas in London cos my son will be there, I can even stay over hubby not so happy cos he don't like crowds and wasn't a big fan of London when we went but I'm sure he'll get used to it.

Talking of hubby he's off today but I'm working both childminding and Sainsbury's today. But he's off to put a basket on his mums front door to stop Billy 'killing' all the post
Going to be extra good on the diet today so it's porridge and banana for brekkie
See ya all later

Morning everyone,

Sounds like a lot of you have lots on the cards for today. I hope evening goes well and everyone had a good weekend.

I am off in to town in a bit to pick up the post since we are still too flooded to get deliveries and I need to buy a new hairbrush. My loyal trusty hairbrush that must be around ten years old finally gave up on my this morning just as I was trying to brush my hair after a shower!

I think I'll take the dogs along and stop for a walk somewhere on route.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all!

Helena - I hope you are right about the tide and have a lovely beach run with Zena.

Bev - it is a shame you did not get as much time with Charly and Ash as you would have liked, but it will be nice if they are able to come back for your birthday.

Lynn - I know only too well that feeling of waking up and thinking it is a different day or week when I have stayed up too late. Not that my staying up late is due to socialising but because I am too busy chatting on the computer!

Jenny - I hope you have a safe drive and find your Mum is well this morning. I cannot remember if you said when you were taking the boys to the vet - will they be able to check which implant Rucksack had?

Lorraine - sorry to hear that you had a disturbed night, what with Brian coughing and then Dougal wanting out and then not settling. Luckily for me Da Booga always settles back to sleep as soon as she has been out during the night, which makes it much easier for me to go back to sleep as well.

Mandy - enjoy your porridge and banana although you have probably already eaten by now!

Jen - I hope you find a hairbrush you like. My hair is so short that I do not think it has seen a brush in years! Just a comb suffices and I have a feeling that the combs I have came with me from England and were not new then!

Nippy - enjoy your visitors and chat!

Moyra - good luck at the dentist.

June - safe journey and hope Lona's teasing has the desired effect!

- Well, it was water delivery day today so I did the usual and put the empty containers outside before I went to bed, to stop the idiot delivery guys from swinging them when they go out - which causes Da Booga to bark and a couple of times she has made air snaps at their heels as they go out, even though I have her held well away from the door.

Usually I have three containers although in the summer that is frequently four, but I only wanted two this time. Luckily they actually telephoned me yesterday [they finally got the message that sending me a text is NBG as my mobile is always off when I am at home and I cannot read the tiny messages in any case if they are in Ivrit] and asked how many containers I wanted, so I said two as I had two empty containers and still two full ones.

Alarm went off as usual at 7am - gave Da Booga her pills while we were both still half asleep - and a bit later she started barking and stood up looking towards the window. I vaguely heard the containers moving and thought ess oh dee it, someone has nicked one or both, but it was far too early to get up [another nearly 2am night last night ]. So eventually surfaced thinking oops, the water delivery will be here any minute - my neighbour came in with my mail as soon as she saw trissim and door open and Da Booga outside - and she said did I know that there were two full water containers outside.

The guys had taken the empty ones and left full ones which is perfect as it means I will not have the usual four-weekly aggro with having to hold Da Booga back as these guys are terrified of her which sets her off. The containers are easy enough to turn on their sides and just roll them in so hopefully they will continue to do it this way. Then I will not have the panic of them turning up when I am still in bed, as has happened before!

Have a good Monday everyone, whatever your plans are.
