15 puppies left to die in suitcase

http://www.theargus.co.uk/search/470...uppies_to_die/

Saw this on our local news today - how can people be so sick Also on the news earlier they showed some of the adult dogs who are still in the care of the RSPCA, they can't be re-homed as the woman is apealling - surely she should never be allowed to keep a dog again. I hope she goes to prison when they find her.
It made me cry - even more so as they were collie x's - they were so lovely & playing with the reporter.

There was a thread about this a few days ago.

I'm glad that the magistrates have indicated that they find it serious - shame that even so, the sentence they can hand out still won't be enough.

not sure how she can appeal if she's gone AWOL?

oh I must have missed it as I was away, only saw it for the first time on the news today - obviously to cowardly to turn up for sentencing today of her "trivial" crime.

Disgusting, I hope they rehome the dogs to someone with a bit more compassion, its about time that these crimes were dealt with more harshly.
