Leonberger pics please, for comparison!

Following on from Hali's question about the difference between Leonbergers and Estrelas, please can Leo owners post a piccie of your dog for comparison. It's something I'm often asked but pictures show the differences better than I could explain them! I guess it's like the difference between a Border Collie and an Aussie Shepherd (with a tail). The differences are easy to see when the dogs are together! I'll try to get my guys in a show stand so you can see the whole dog.

and here are some Estrelas...

Rio and Dandy. This one shows athletic lighter build. Ears are held incorrectly however, as they were looking at a rabbit!

Rio's half brother Rum. Ears turned back, totally different head shape to a Leo. You can just see a brindle Estrela in the background.

Dandy in the middle with his littermates Daisy and William. Showing good turned back ears.

And Rio with her litter sisters. Lexus on the left holding ears correctly, and Mia on the right.

I saw this handsome guy at a show the last month, does it matter that he isn't mine?

Definitely! He has much more of a 'square' head. He's a handsome boy!
