I'm 29

I did a music degree at Durham when I was 18 but have never really done anything with it. I've been studying to be a counsellor now for over a year. Done all my NVQs and now starting Uni.

People look at me funny when I say I'm a student so now I say I'm a trainee counsellor.

Yeah, I've found that in hairdressers especially. When young girls are doing the hair washing, they sometimes seem really shy.

I was the second youngest in my class at college. Mostly people start to train to be a counsellor when they are older.

Well done, it's great when you get news like that

I was so excited when I got the financial assistance to pay for my courses. Just waiting on the course material now
