I had intra-cranial pressure monitoring done twice. It's not nice at all. The low-pressure headaches are the worst. A lot more painful than high pressure, but less dangerous apparently. They told me to drink loads of fluids (3 litres a day at one point) and to lay down flat.

I had nothing but trouble with my shunt as well - I hope one day you'll be able to get rid of it like I did. I remember how much pain I was in and I wouldn't wish that for anyone.

I really hope you're home for Christmas and that your pain gets less.

Lots of love xxx

So sorry to read this Jackie...I hope they can get your pain under control and get you sorted out very quickly...I think you have had more than your fair share of pain.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery in time for Christmas xxx

Oh Jackie, you poor thing, I thought your treatment was all done and finished and then I see this up here. It had to be done I suppose, it all sounds pretty painful, I'm sorry they made you cry but at least you're home with the family for Christmas, and just don't think about what they're going to do to you in January, you just enjoy your self as much as you can over Christmas. I hope the pain goes away for you Jackie.xxxxx
