Dougal the Leopard Gecko

Well, here he is! 13 years old and still going strong! Had him since he was 5 and love him to bits! Even if he doesn't do too much...

He has a hamster house in his vivarium cos I thought it looked nicer than all the fake rock ones! Don't think he minds though. He has plenty of places to hide and yet this is where I always find him!

And he's not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed... Even his lunch manages to out-smart him! (Sorry for the quality, taken on my old phone!)

Thanks for looking!

Aww he's fab, how long do they live for? I have had my tortoise since I was 8 and you just can't imagine having a household without him!

I think they can live into their 20's! My dad has always wanted us to get a tortoise as he had one as a child but it escaped from their back garden and never returned...

I'm a bit lost without him atm... He is with my parents as I have been moving about and I'm now in London with Mike so not sure if/when I'll be able to get him down here. He is having trouble shedding and lost the end of his tail just before I left (I think he injured it on some new wood I gave him) so I'm a bit worried bout him too!!! But my mum knows how and what to feed him and he's getting extra supplements to help with the shedding and healing so I know he'll be ok. Still gonna miss him though!!!
