I'm sure she will be with you for a lot longer Helena. I know how much the beautiful Zena means to you.
Hope you get to the bottom of this soon, you must be so worried.
Hugs to you and Zena x

Helena I am so glad she is home and ok and hope you are feeling better too. I would of thought the same thing about the bloat and then like you did wonder why as like you I never feed Ollie just before exercise or after.

June's idea sounds as if it may have some kind of sense maybe thats why she was reluctant to pick her ball up if she had just been stung.

I know what you mean about being out somewhere and this happens when you are on your own Ollie is 70 kgs I would never manage and I am naughty and very rarely take my phone and there is not likely to be in anyway.

Hope she remains ok and wait to see what the vet comes up with I think you are wise to keep her rested for a while.

(((Hugs))) for you and Zena and mustn't forget Georgie. X

I'm sure it was too early for any wasps to be around quite honestly, more like there was something extremely nasty either near that ball of hers, the way she looked over at me, is the same look she gives me when it's lying near some poo, she expects me to come and pick it up for her, and if it was that, then it could be that some of that "nasty" might have actually got on her ball, be it whatever, something worse than poo like the vet said? She never actually ate anything, I always keep my eye on her for that, not that she would, she's not a scavenger type dog quite honestly, she hates anything nasty that's lying around, unlike Georgie of course! Plus her mouth seems fine, the vet looked in there, saw nothing, and she's eaten fine, there doesn't seem to be a problem in her mouth, or on her face or anything. Anaphalactic shock maybe if something did sting her, but why was she sick? You don't get sick with that, you just collapse and lose your blood pressure I know that coz I've had it! She would have needed adrenalin too, she wouldn't have just recovered on her own within 30 minutes I don't think. It's a blooming mystery isn't it, but I'm glad that she's pestering me now with porky pig!!!! xxxxxx

Helena, I can imagine what you have been through and are still going through (waiting for a diagnosis). My heart goes out to you, both. The bright thing is she is still with you (Thank God) and is back to her usual self. Big hugs to you both from me xxxxxxx

Maybe there was something on the ball that she ingested and it was just enough to make her unwell and it has now passed through. Such a mystery.

Ollie has 3 of those pigs, he had one for the van, one for home and then acquired the one I bought for my Sisters jrt. They are fun.

Vet just rung. He's booked me in with the Greek heart specialist who is very, very good he said! Monday 11.30, but bloods tomorrow so he has the results for Monday. He had a good talk with the heart specialist and if it's NOT heart, because there is no heart problems which would cause that sickness he said, then it is possibly Vesavegas and don't askme how to spell that one!!! This is a condition a nervous condition where a blood vessel is trapped temporarily and causes fainting and sickness and then completely goes!! Could be that then!!! He said the heart specialist will talk all about this tome if it is NOT her heart. They will not be knocking her out to do the scan and everything else. Germany shepherds are prone to arythmia's and it could be that, BUT, no sickness with that! Oh my head is spinning!!!!

Thanks hades, and everyone else, I've gotta go and cook some fish now, and some lunch for me before I collapse!!!xxxxxx

I hope you get to the bottom of it - it does seem weird that she perks up so quickly after being so bad. I know what you mean about not wanting to pick up the ball if it's rolled in something nasty but if was really nasty you would have thought the affects would have lasted longer.
Don't you wish they could just speak sometimes! Big hugs for Zena. You certainly have have a rough time recently xx

I expect it is spinning and I am not surprised. Hopefully you will have some firm answers after Monday. I am having to keep myself off keep looking things up about Ollie and just wait and see like the vet says to do at the moment, he is well still so am trying not too worry too much but I know how you feel it is so hard not too read things into it isn't it ?

More (((Hugs))). x
