Oh no, poor Helena, she is not having a good time of late is she.

My thoughts are with her, and fingers crossed all will be OK.

Will check in later.

Thanks guys for all your support for Helen, Of course I will pass it all on.

To answer a few questions posted

she is hoping that the heart specialist will be able to see Zena today, she is waiting on a phone call from her vet. I said if she had not heard anything by 11 I would ring back. So I hope she gets an app asap.

At first Helen thought it might have been bloat and she asked the vet this, or rather told the vet you know Helen that this is what she thought it might be. The vet felt around zena and thought it all seemed ok, so Helen mentioned her hernia but the vet said that that was just a bit of fat in front of the hernia that was making it look (I think) bigger than what is actually is. So vet not concerned with that.

Then Helen thought it might be like last time, heat stroke, but although she was running round mad, she is a 7 month old pup, so full of energy, she didn't think it could be that back again...She is now wondering wether the last time (heat stroke) was maybe the same sort of thing and it is her heart. I told her not to start thinking until she has seen this heart specialist. I shall give her till 12 then ring her.

Zena's gums were very white when it first happened, when the vet looked they had pinked up but the the vet said that it was a tad slow coming back, so to my mind that all points to circulation. what do you think?

Once again thanks everyone for your kind thoughts and well wishes and I will pass them all on.

xxxxxxx
