Tess (SBT) 10.06.04 - 2.06.08

This is possibly the hardest post I will ever type out, as I am sure you can all understand.

Yesterday my Tess (SBT) died while being spayed a totaly unexpected event. She was perfectly fit, healthy, happy and much much much loved.

She felt no pain that I am aware of or wish to be aware of. It was purely one of those sad sad sad events that do happen.
I feel most deeply for the vets and the nurses whose care was faultless and who are also deeply deeply upset.

Tess never had a moment of sadness, and brought nothing but smiles even now when her name is mentioned the corners of my mouth twitch upward, that says it all I think.

RIP Titch.

Thank you devestating is a good description numb and devestated but you can't say the name Tess without smiling she made you do that; either by carrying a rather too large log through a too small doorway. Or sliding on her belly toward the fire without opening her eyes, or waking up....Titch, much missed always loved and always a staffie smile.

The staffie smile is indeed the best smile, she sounds a true little character.xx
