Should I go down to one meal a day?

daphni has refused her breakfast for the past two mornings. she hasnt wanted it at all, and ive been picking it up after half an hour and shes really not bothered. then she will eat her tea at about 7, even though it was put down at 6 last night...

so should i just not bother with her breakfast and give her one meal a day? she doesnt go to the other dogs bowls she doesnt move from her bed for breakfast.

shes fine in her self, shes still playing with toys, going on her walks and running about like a loon, so im just thinking maybe she just isnt hungry?

but with her being such a little dog, can she cope with just one meal a day?

I wouldnt feed one meal a day (personally)

Is this a sudden not wanting breakie, or has it been a part of her?

I feed mine their first meal at around 9am (by then they have had 2 walks, a game of ball and a touch of training...so ready for breakfast!)

You could split her evening meal into 2, so she gets a little bit of breakfast. Just a thought

How about feeding her less in the evening then she may be hungry in the morning for her breakfast.I know lots of poeple who only feed once a day though but owning a large breed dog i prefer to split it into 2.

Sometimes some of mine refuse a meal so I take it up and they have it for the next one. I think sometimes dogs just aren`t that hungry, especially with raw feeding.
Maybe cut the amounts down a bit if it happens a lot?
