A first for our local rescue ...:-(

Our local Midlands Today program has just featured an item saying the Dogs Trust at Evesham has take in an entire Border Collie family 'Mother and Father Alice and Percy and their entire litter of puppies...this was a first for the rescue

We should not assume the worse, that the dogs were handed in because the owner was going away, it may well have been because the owners could not afford to keep them all. It was said Alice has a really lovely temperament.

The rescue is full to overflowing and contains some dogs which were handed in last Christmas... ...I thought it was so very sad wish I could afford to rescue them all..

That is so so sad

I hate this time of year for rescue centres. It must really break the volunteers hearts to see this kind of thing
