Its terrible, When I saw the papers originally I cried my eyes out, you can't imagine the desperation he must have felt to have to do that. I couldn't watch last night because I would have spent the night crying again, those poor people...

I saw it too-
They must of been incredibly brave to jump, it was a hard programme to watch and my heart goes out to them and their families.

I saw a programme on National Geographic the other day about 9.11.

We heard tapes of the kidnappers taking over the planes.. Mohammed Atta and others.. I hadn't heard of that before..

And we were told that it was more than those few we saw jump, that actually DID jump.. I believe one of the surviving firemen said something about 30 people..

Poor souls May they rest in peace

I can still to this minute say where I was and what I was doing, when it happened

I went to bed early, but saw this was one and started watching it. I lasted 37 minutes, and then could no longer see through the tears. I had to switch it off - it was heartbreaking

I watched it, they said approx 200 jumped altogether but nothing has been said about these poor souls because there is some sort of stigma about people taking their own lives, I think they were very brave personally, what a decision these poor people had to make, either die by burning to death or jump and hope you are dead before you hit the ground. very sad indeed.
