A lot will re-home in other areas, as long as you pass a homecheck, and are prepared to go and meet the dog

theres two breed rescues on your list that id steer clear of..naturally im not planning on naming them. I know of a staff pup in your area. Is a x but very lovely looking. If you email me with all your details (name/contacts/area/current animals/kids/work hours) Ill pass your details on.

Congratulations on a really good post Hevvur - can I just say I read some of those case histories about the appalling condition and treatment some of them have been through and I am sitting here now with tears down my cheeks. Thank heavens for rescue centres, that's all I can say.

We are miles away from you and have a couple of staffy's waiting for their Forever homes. Have you got any experience of dog ownership, or will this be your first one?

although what you are looking to do is very commendable I would advise on the side of caution.I don't know how old your pup is but having 2 pups together is very hard work and it is usually advisable to wait until the first is mature and well trained.

There is a lovely staffie pup at Battersea, he's a couple of months old called Ollie, I rang up about him but he's not good with cats & I have three. He really is a pretty little dog. He's on their website.

I must say i agree with archer as just recently i've got to know a family who bought two staffie pups togwther and tho their doing their very best i hea their really struggling to cope , i've never owned a staff myself but i would imagine that any more than one lively pup at a time of any breed would be a real handful. but what ever you decide todo i waish you the best of luck .
