I bought "Darkness Falls" on DVD when I saw it in the cheap bin in the local supermarket. The initial premise is good, but it doesn't live up to its own idea It has the occasional spooky moment, but I thought the effects were pretty bargain-basement and that it got a trifle predictable as it went on.

What made me laugh were the "extras" on the DVD - a short film, supposedly about the original "true" story. About as true as a Jeffrey Archer denial

Well, at least it passed some time that might otherwise have been wasted by doing something useful.

I enjoyed Darkness Falls, although I thought the end was a bit lame, and predictable.
